Our hosting provider processes ordinary request information, such as an IP address, requested URL, browser details and time, to deliver and protect the site.

If you email the newsroom, we use what you send to review and answer the message. Do not include passwords, access tokens or sensitive incident data in an initial report.

A linked website or externally hosted image may receive a request from your browser and follow its own privacy policy.
We use self-hosted Umami at stats.dwc.news to measure page visits and clicks on links to our projects. These events include the page path, link placement, destination host/path and an observed source category. Our tracker removes query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs before sending them to Umami. It does not read form values or record sessions.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page performance, including Core Web Vitals. Browser requests to these services include the technical information needed to deliver them. Our tracker respects the browser Do Not Track setting and excludes designated test visits. Temporary session storage remembers a source category and test exclusion; it does not contain a visitor ID.
